PRODUCT LINEUP
We have been doing this for over 8 years now and there are not many times that we are blown away. Well, when we saw this brand a couple of years ago as it was brought to the market we were really excited. Alchemist Car Care is new on the scene but with a lot of history behind the scenes. The people behind the brand know what they are doing and have been in the detailing world for a very long time. Besides their detailing knowledge they know a lot about marketing, websites, and packaging and they absolutely blew things out of the water with their brand.
They chose a brand that plays on alchemy as you can tell by the name and leveled up the packaging, graphics, and look of what they are doing. Every product is shipped in an amazing box that really shows their creative abilities and spare no expense attitude in the presentation.
First up is BrimStone Wheel & Tire Cleaner. This foaming, alkaline based cleaner is a beast. It is strong for built up grime and tire blooming. It is safe for most wheels but you may want to skip it on billet aluminum or other uncoated wheels. It is quick to break down dirt and the foam hangs on to make a long dwell time. We really enjoyed this cleaner and we are excited to hear what you think.
The second step to any good wash or detail is the actual hand wash. For this we chose AquaFoam, a pH neutral shampoo that is amazing in a bucket or a foam cannon. It is highly lubriscious, foams really well, and has a pleasant scent. It can be used as a clay lube for decontaminating a vehicle's surface. The slickness was great and it did a great job removig dirt and bugs splatter. The scent is not overpowering which was nice and overall we really enjoyed it. We also included a large twist loop drying towel that is 1200GSM of drying goodness from Alchemist! The colorway is amazing and really brings everything home in the branding department.
For the last step in this process we included Silica Ceramic Sealant. This SiO2 packed sealant can be used on paint, trim, plastic, wheels, glass, chrome, and more. We found it to be a great layer of slickness and protection on our wheels we just cleaned with BrimStone and our freshly washed car. The surface feels like ice and is smooth as glass and should hold up for up to 12 months. The water beading was outstanding and we believe you will all really like this one.
Once again, we think you will all be blown away by the amazing packaging, bottles, fantastic sprayers, and overall vibe of Alchemist. On top of the look of the brand, it is all really well formulated and will be on our shelves for years to come. The one dilema we have is now we have a ton of product boxes we cannot let ourselves part with because they feel like a Pokemon card in creativity.
