SEMA 2025 is here and we are extremely excited to go to the show and see all of the great detailing brands and people in the industry. Every year is a blast and we always enjoy talking with brands and influencers and getting a better understanding of what they are up to.
This year we are even more excited because we partnered with Hi-Lustre from California! Hi-Lustre has been in business for nearly 100 years and is a family owned and operated brand that will be at SEMA! We met this company a few months back and tested many of their products and were shocked we have not heard of them sooner. Everything we tested from polishes, dressings, metal polish, and everything in-between was excellent. All of their products are made in California and best of all, they work!
So in honor of SEMA we are doing a Hi-Lustre takeover for November and this is what you will find packed into your GloveBox!
First up is Hi-Lustre Wash & Shine car shampoo that we paired with a huge wash mitt to get your maintenance wash going. This thick and concentrated car soap is great in a bucket and will help break down dirt and grime while this beast of a wash mitt knocked down square footage quickly. This soap mixes 1:128 and rinses easily leaving a clean and streak-free result. It is safe on all surfaces and finishes and available in 16 ounces and 1 gallon containers so you can order more while not breaking the bank!
After you have washed your vehicle you should protect your artwork by applying the Hi-Lustre Ceramic Spray Coating. Available in three sizes this SIO2 infused spray coating is perfect for paint, chrome, glass, headlights, trim, and even wheels. It is extremely easy to use and will cure fully in as little as 48 hours. This spray coating lasts up to 12 months and is extremely cost-effective while bringing added protection to every detail. If you or your client has a tight budget for your detail, this might be a great alternative to a full-blown ceramic coating. It smells incredible and is one of our favorite-smelling products in a long time!
Once you have tackled the exterior of the vehicle and everything is clean and protected you can add Hi-Lustre Complete Dressing to finish off the exterior. Add this silicone based dressing to tires, trim, front plastic spoilers, and any plastics on your ride and you will love the quick drying and low sling formula this offers.
Now to put the cherry on top. Clean the interior glass and mirrors with Hi-Lustre Crystal Blue Glass Cleaner! We paired this glass cleaner with our GloveBox waffle weave towel for quick work on windshields, windows, mirrors, and other surfaces. This glass cleaner can be diluted to make it last for a long time and leaves a streak-free surface with no smearing or residue. One thing we liked a lot about this glass cleaner is that it worked great on old cars with chrome bumpers and wheels.
You will not be disappointed in this brand and you will see the depth of their catalog while being extremely friendly on your wallet. They offer lots of sizes and even large sizes which are great for shops and dealerships.
