MJJC Foam Cannon Pro V3.0 Review
The last decade or so there have been some good foam cannons that flooded the detailing world but none more recently than MJJC. Both the MJJC Pro V2.0 and S V3.0 have really stepped up the foam cannon game. They have great form and function and are extremely well priced for what they deliver.
What is the Difference between the MJJC Pro V2 & MJJC S V3?
While both the MJJC Pro V2 and S V3 largely perform the same as they appear to have the same internals there are pros and cons to each foam cannon. The Pro V2 is built on a wider yet shorter bottle which is extremely stable and will not tip easily while also being very durable. The MJJC S V3 is a great sleek design but the clear bottle can be less forgiving if you drop it and also since it is narrower than the Pro V2 is tips over much easier. The benefit of the MJJC S V3 is that it has a nice twist off bottle that you only turn about a quarter of a turn unlike the Pro V2 you need to unscrew like a traditional foam cannon. Both of these foam cannons include a pickup tube with a weighted end and it makes using the cannon at any angle a breeze. The only other difference is the Pro V2 is red and black and the S V3 is blue and white so you can choose your favorite color.
Why get the New MJJC Pro V3?
Many of us do not need to run out and get the MJJC Pro V3 but for those really interest in what is better in the new foam cannon and is it worth the $109.00 they are retailing for. Some of the major updates they have made to their Pro lineup are the size of the container is now 1300ml, stainless steel materials, and an anti-leak cap to stop leaking out of the cap. The new large container offers nice hand holds to help control your grip when you are filling the cannon, connecting the manifold, or attaching it to your pressure washer sprayer.
The new foam cannon is supposed to be quieter when you are going to Foam Town USA like Jamie the Cleaner calls it. The level of foam is supposed to be greater with less shampoo or snow foam so we will see how that works out in our testing. One thing people may not like about the new bottle is that no longer is clear but a silver color but it does have a viewing window to keep track of how much soap you have left as you are foaming.
